Emberwood Bar is an open world player home for Skyrim SE
A long time ago, before the town of Riverwood existed, a prospector discovered iron ore deposits nearby. A mining operation was set up, and the mine was called "Embershard Mine". Initially, the miners lived in tents outside the mine. But it soon became apparent that this was not suitable due to the terrain and vegetation. So, they relocated a bit north, next to the river. It wasn't long before a blacksmith set up shop. Other merchants, and a lumber mill were also established. The residents decided to call this new little town "Riverwood". With two industries, they expected a lot of growth in Riverwood. So they decided to protect their town and investments by building a large stone wall around the city. "Bars", or, gatehouses would be built at each end of town. The first to be built was on the west end of town. They called it "Emberwood Bar", taking parts of both names of the mine and town. Unfortunately, Riverwood never experienced the kind of growth they expected, and the town didn't have the finances to build the other Bar, or the wall. Emberwood Bar sat idle for many years, until recently when it was remodeled for residential accomodations.
The building has two levels. The upper level is the living area, which consists of a wardrobe, end table, bed, safe, fireplace, cooking pot, a small eating area, and some shrines.
The lower level contains all the crafting stations. Custom smelter, anvil, workbench, tanning rack, grindstone, alchemy lab, and enchanter. There is also custom storage for ingredients, potions, jewelry, soul gems, armor, weapons, a chest for crafting materials, and a tool chest under the workbench. There is also some weapon racks, plaques, and shield plaques.
There is a hand built spiral staircase in the tower that can take you to each floor, the roof, and to the top of the tower. There are also teleporters on each level, if you want to take the quick way to another floor. On the ground floor is a ladder that will take you to the lower level.
All containers have been tested, and are safe for storage, except the waste basket by the desk, which is clearly labeled "respawns". All of the weapon racks and plaques have been tested with various weapon types and are working properly.
There are 18 planter soils on the roof, and a critter spawn marker. Expect to see butterflies in and around the upper areas. FYI, dragons CAN land on the tower.
The mod has been properly navmeshed, including the upper floors, and roof. The spiral staircase is not navmeshed.
